Valerie Bertinelli, 63, recently revealed on Instagram that she has a new boyfriend, following her past engagements. She shared a selfie with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “So High School,” two years after her divorce from Tom Vitale and four years after the death of her first husband, Eddie Van Halen.
Bertinelli’s new partner is writer Mike Goodnough, known as the Hoarse Whisperer. She had hinted at the relationship earlier this month, saying it was unlike any connection she’d had before. Goodnough confirmed the romance in a humorous Substack post.
In her new cookbook, Bertinelli reflected on her marriage to Van Halen, noting they never stopped loving each other despite their divorce. She also mentioned that she and Goodnough began connecting on social media in 2016 or 2017 and likely started messaging after her 2022 divorce.
Bertinelli recently told PEOPLE Magazine, “I’m in love,” expressing her surprise at finding love again. We’re happy to see her content!
