Mark Cropp, a 19-year-old father from New Zealand, went viral after pleading for work despite his “DEVAST8” face tattoo, which he got while in jail. He has since received over 45 job offers but is still waiting for the right one.
Cropp plans to have the tattoo removed, though he admits it’s tough since it was a gift from his brother. The tattoo, meant to reflect his tough past, is tied to a history of violent behavior, but he now regrets it and wants to move forward for the sake of his family. Cropp has also accepted a full-time scaffolding job and will begin laser removal therapy soon.
