I came home to find my kids on the porch, suitcases packed and confused. They said I told them to leave, but I hadn’t. My heart raced as I checked their phone and saw a fake text from me telling them to wait for their dad. Panic set in as I turned around and saw my ex, Lewis, pull into the driveway.
He smugly accused me of bad parenting and tried to take the kids. I was furious but stayed calm, insisting he had no right. Seeing my children scared and tearful broke me, but I stayed firm. Lewis left, and I promised to protect my kids from his manipulations.
Later, I gathered evidence of his lies and reached out to his new girlfriend, Lisa. I calmly showed her the truth—fake texts and legal documents—and explained how he’d been lying to both of us. She didn’t defend him for long, and eventually, their relationship began to fall apart.
I didn’t seek revenge, but the truth was enough. It worked its way into Lisa’s mind, and over time, their bond unraveled. I had justice, and that was enough.
