Eventually, Rooney found his way onto the big screen and it was there that he really became well known to many. He had such a sparkle about him that it was difficult not to feel as if he was entertaining you directly.

It was at MGM Studios where Rooney really found his place. Some of the stars that he worked with helped to propel his career, including Judy Garland. He would dance and sing in movies and leave an impression that left people wanting more.

Even though he was well known for what he did, he still had difficulties that sometimes lived behind the scenes. His career did have its ups and downs and he went to fight during World War II. Throughout it all, however, he remained a pillar in the entertainment industry.

He is well known for the films that he made, but he also was known for the love and drama that was in his life. Many of the real-life experiences that he shared with the world would be enough to fill a lot of interesting books.
