At 60, after nine years of mourning my late husband Richard, I found new love with Thomas, a kind widower. As our wedding day arrived, my late husband’s brother, David, objected, accusing me of forgetting Richard. But I stood up for myself, reminding him I had never stopped loving Richard, and deserved to live my life.
To prove my point, my daughter Sophia played a video Richard made before he passed, encouraging me to move forward and find happiness. David tried to cause more trouble, accusing Thomas of marrying me for money, but Thomas calmly shut him down.
After David was escorted out, my wedding continued, and Thomas and I exchanged vows, starting a new chapter of love and life.
