When I overheard my husband Mark and our neighbor’s daughter, Emma, discussing their affair, I didn’t confront them. I plotted.
After ten years of marriage and feeling overworked, I discovered Mark’s betrayal when I overheard him mocking me and kissing Emma on our porch. Instead of reacting, I calmly planned my revenge.
The next day, I invited Emma over under the guise of seeking her help with redecorating. As she walked through my home, I gave her a crash course on all the chores she’d be taking over—kids, laundry, cooking, and more. When Mark walked in, I revealed everything: Emma was now in charge of it all. The final touch was Emma’s parents showing up for dinner, and I told them their daughter and Mark were now a team.
Emma was furious, and Mark panicked, but I calmly told him to pack his bags. He left that night, and a week later, Emma dumped him.
Mark begged for reconciliation, but I turned him away. Now, I’m thriving, rediscovering myself, while Mark and Emma are both learning their lessons the hard way. Karma really is sweet.
