Suzana, a devoted single mother, had worked hard all year to make Christmas special for her sons, Ethan and Jake. She bought a beautiful tree and watched as they decorated it with care. But their joy was shattered when their cruel landlord, Mr. Bryant, ordered the tree be taken away, calling it a fire hazard.
The next morning, Suzana saw their tree, now in Mr. Bryant’s yard, decorated with her sons’ ornaments. Furious, Suzana and her best friend, Jessie, snuck into his yard that night. They redecorated the tree with glitter and spelled out “Merry Karma.”
The next day, the tree went viral online, with people mocking Mr. Bryant for his theft. That evening, he returned the tree, covered in glitter, and apologized. But Suzana’s surprise came when Mrs. Adams and neighbors arrived with a new tree, ornaments, and treats for the boys.
“This is the best Christmas ever!” Ethan declared, as Suzana realized that community and kindness had turned a bad situation into something beautiful. And Mr. Bryant? He likely spent the rest of the season finding glitter in unexpected places.
