Jake decided to cook the Thanksgiving turkey, and despite Jen’s doubts, she supported him. However, the turkey turned out disastrously sweet, with a bizarre glaze made of brown sugar, maple syrup, and marshmallow fluff. Jen’s mother-in-law, Patricia, criticized him, and the tension grew.
Later, Jen discovered the recipe was from Jake’s ex-wife, Sarah. Confronting Jake, Jen learned he hadn’t wanted to ask her for help, feeling insecure about messing up. He admitted he just wanted to impress everyone, but Jen couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. Her trust in him wavered, leaving her uncertain about their relationship.
