Bailey Cooper, diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2016, fought a brave battle against cancer. After a brief remission, the cancer returned, and in August, doctors gave him only days or weeks to live. Despite the grim prognosis, Bailey held on long enough to meet his baby sister, Millie, whom he adored.
As his health worsened, Bailey selflessly asked for gifts for his younger brother, Riley, and even comforted his grandmother, telling her not to be selfish. When the cancer spread to his brain, Bailey told his family he was ready to go and become Millie’s guardian angel.
Bailey passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, surrounded by his family. Though devastated by his loss, his parents take solace in his wisdom and strength, knowing his legacy and light will live on.
